Mal was one of the first residents at the sanctuary back in August 2013 he was found walking along the road in Guadalupe county and was picked up by animal control. He came to use at first as a foster child, but months went by and no one claimed ownership. So here he stays, as you can see he has come a long way here at the sanctuary. We could not help but get attached as his is the sweetest most gentle giant at 17 hands there is.
He loves our volunteers and will spend the rest of his life here with his heard.
